Delivery terms
Delivery times will be confirmed once your order has been received and processed, in line with manufacturer guidelines and current stock availability.
For items held in our own stock, we aim to deliver within 5–7 working days. Some bed frames and mattresses are made to order, and standard UK delivery times can range from 5–20 working days, depending on manufacturer lead times and stock availability.
Next day delivery can be available with Kaydian Design Ltd products.
Pre-Order Items
Some products may be available on a pre-order basis when incoming stock is already on its way to the UK. Placing a pre-order reserves your bed from that shipment, ensuring one is allocated to your order once the stock arrives.
Estimated delivery times for pre-order items will be shown on the product page. These dates are based on expected production schedules and shipping timelines.
As many of our beds arrive via international container shipments, delivery estimates may occasionally vary slightly due to shipping schedules, port processing, or transport to our warehouse.
Once your order has arrived in the UK and been checked into stock, a member of our team will contact you to arrange delivery.
Next-day delivery may be available on selected Kaydian products, subject to availability.
A valid mobile phone number is required when placing your order, as this is essential for arranging delivery. Unfortunately, we are unable to dispatch orders without one.
A member of our team or our delivery partner will contact you to confirm your delivery date and, where applicable, a time slot. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the delivery. If delivery cannot be accepted as scheduled, please inform us as soon as possible. Failed delivery attempts may result in re-delivery charges.
Deliveries are carried out by a dedicated two-person delivery team, who will take items to the room of your choice. All deliveries require a signature.
Please ensure suitable floor protection is in place prior to delivery, as couriers are unable to remove footwear and cannot accept responsibility for any damage or soiling to unprotected flooring.
Please check all packaging and items carefully before signing. If any boxes are missing, show signs of damage, or if you have any concerns, please contact us immediately before accepting delivery.
We recommend keeping your existing bed or mattress until your new order has been delivered and fully checked.
Some areas of Scotland and South Wales may incur additional delivery charges and may fall within a 4–5 working day delivery window.

How do you access the storage?
The bed uses a smooth hydraulic lift system with lifting straps, making it easy to raise the mattress base and access the storage area.
How much can you actually fit inside the storage?
Quite a lot — most customers use it for spare bedding, pillows, and even suitcases. It’s proper usable space, not just a token compartment.
Is it heavy to lift the ottoman storage?
No — the hydraulic lift system does most of the work. Once you start the lift, it feels controlled and easy to handle. There is also a new added safety bar for that extra reassurance when the Ottoman is open.
Does the ottoman base feel solid or flimsy?
It’s a solid, well-built frame with a sturdy floating floor — built for everyday use, not something that feels cheap or hollow.
Will the mattress slide when you lift it?
No — the base is designed to hold the mattress in place while lifting, so everything stays secure.
What type of mattress base does it have?
It has a ventilated platform-style base, designed to support your mattress while allowing air to circulate for better freshness and longevity.
Does the bed require assembly?
Yes, the bed will require assembly. Full instructions are provided, and we also offer a build service if needed.
