Will my TV fit in a TV bed?

The simple answer to this question is 'Yes', as long as your TV is 43 inches or smaller, fits inside 980 x 580 mm and is no more than 85 mm deep without the stand. Every TV bed we sell holds up to a 43-inch TV. The five that publish a size limit all allow 980 mm wide by 580 mm high, with depths between 85 and 100 mm (93 mm on average), so a TV inside 980 x 580 x 85 mm fits any of them.

What each of our TV beds allows

Every bed below takes up to a 43-inch TV. Where a maximum TV size is published, it is 980 x 580 mm with a depth of 85 to 100 mm, averaging 93 mm.

Check your own TV in five steps

You can check any TV in a few minutes with its model number and spec sheet.

1. Confirm the screen is 43 inches or smaller.
2. Find "dimensions without stand" in the spec sheet. The TV needs to be no wider than 980 mm and no taller than 580 mm.
3. Check the depth. 85 mm or less fits every bed with a published limit. Up to 90 mm fits the Edge and Vox, and up to 100 mm fits the Appleton and Medway.
4. Note the weight without the stand and the VESA pattern. 
5. Check bed-specific requirements, such as the Amber needing a TV with an optical port.

Cables, connections and sound

All TV Beds are different. How your TV connects depends on the bed, so check the details for the one you choose. The Echo has the TV power and HDMI cabling built in, with HDMI 2.1 Enhanced eARC. The Edge has two HDMI ports in the footend. The Amber hides its wiring under a floating floorboard and needs a TV with an optical port. Most of our beds also add USB-A and USB-C charging at the headboard, side rails or foot end.

Manual override and looking after the lift

Our TV lifts are remote controlled, and several have a manual option. The Amber has manual up and down buttons on both side rails and switches the TV off when it lowers into the footboard. The Echo has a manual override and auto power-off, and the Vox has manual controls alongside voice control.
